Winter Olympics

Were you able to watch the opening ceremony last night? It was on pretty late Wash DC time (lasted until after midnight), but was beautiful to watch. My heart goes out to the athlete who died during a practice exercise just hours before the opening ceremony. We know that the sport is a dangerous one, and it is times like this when that notion really hits home.

Are there any particular events which you are looking forward to seeing? Figure skating is always a favorite for me! They make it look so easy, while I on the other hand can barely stand and skate along the wall!
