I woke up this morning at around 5:30, and felt almost like a kid again as I stared in awe at the beauty of the intertwining snow laced branches outside my window. It's still relatively dark out, but I'll try to get some pictures once there's a wee bit more light to take them in. Now granted, I work for myself, often from home, and I don't have to commute despite the weather, and so it may be a "tad" easier for me to enjoy the simple beauty the snow provides, without first dwelling on thoughts of uncovering my car and increased Washington D.C. area traffic.

It's early in the morning yet, but I feel like making a fire, having some hot cocoa, and simply enjoying the view. Lets start with the hot chocolate, and see where we go from there!
