I actually live in Spring, close to The Woodlands (Harris/Montgomery County line). Kelliebell (we have known each other for 22 years) also lives up here, 10 miles from me. Is the music more Country or Blues? Let me know closer to October where the parties will be and the cost. My daughter is will be getting married around 10 months from then, so we are saving any extra cash to keep from advancing our debt status any further.

Would you let me know where in Houston you live (general area if you're hesitant)? One friend lives in the Energy Corridor and the other lives in right over the Fort Bend/Harris County line. We went to JP's Hops House Saturday and Sunday to listen to some very talented musicians. I'll return to Houston in October to attend 2 house concerts featuring many of these musicians. If you're interested in this type of "party", let me know and I'll tell my "county line" friend. She's getting involved in booking house concerts. I'll give you the particulars if you're interested.

Thank you for wanting me to be on your friend list. I'm a retired English teacher who still is crazy enough to want to substitute. I sub in a school which is designed for children ages 5-21 who have emotional and/or behavioral problems and who just can't manage in a traditional classroom. It is interesting, heart-wrenching, and a constant learning for me.

Hello - haven't been on much lately. School started and Ike hit. Still no power at home but schools opened up today so, it's back to work. At least there is AC.
