What will they think?

I bowl in a league once a week. We will not be bowling again until mid-January. I am participating in a study at the University of Alabama Dental School. During this study I will get pins implanted into my lower gum to stablize my dentures. On our last day of bowling I told my team mates that I would be getting "implants" during the weeks we are off. This should give them something to talk about! They are probably expecting my bustline to be somewhat larger when we return. Funny

Central Alabama musings

Here in central Alabama the weather is spectacular! Beautiful blue skies (after an extended period of rain every day), cool nights and warm days. The fall colors are starting to fade but there are still many beautiful trees of gold, red, orange. The weather forecast has only one day with a small chance of rain for the next seven days.

The excessive rain late in October and early November has all but destroyed the sweet potato crops. Farmers expect only 25-30% of the crop to be harvested
