There's a lot of chlorine in the water here, but try as I could, I hadn't been able to find a water filter which would take it out to a "drinkable" level, until recently. After reviewing the reviews on Amazon, I decided to give Culligan a try, and I'm glad that I did! The filter was easy to install (I just unscrewed the existing cap, screwed on the filter, and turned on the water to let it "flush" the filter for five minutes or so before using it the first time), and by filling on glass with unfiltered water, and one glass with the filtered, I could really tell the difference! I won't say that it's as fresh as Deer Park or other bottled water, but it's pretty darn close and I love that I'm saving tons of money on bottled water (not to mention not having to lug it up the stairs every week!). In fact, I liked it so much, that I bought their shower filters as well, and I can now finally take a shower in the city without my lungs burning and skin breaking out. Love 'em!
