    Thumbs up Better Than Bouillon, Chicken Base

    I've been under the weather for the past couple of days, and decided to make some soup. I usually prefer to use home made chicken stock, or the kind made by Pacific Natural Foods. This time, however, decided to give Better Than Bouillon a try, which I purchased on sale a couple weeks back. I'm happy to say that I really like their product. It has a lot more flavor than the chicken broth from a carton, and takes up less space as well. It is also less expensive than non-condensed broths, contains no MSG, is mostly organic, and is really easy to use - just add hot water. I'll be buying it again!

    There are times I simmer chicken for a dish, but don't need the broth. I put it in glass jars allowing for expansion and freeze it. That way I have chicken stock at my fingertips.
