Spring is in full bloom here! Pollen city! Washed the car yesterday and this morning it didn't look like I had touched it...at least I got some of it off...tacky greenish/yellow stuff. I have many maple trees that are scarlet red with their little whirlygigs falling like rain...everywhere you look is a carpet of them on the ground...probably filling up the rain gutters too....will have to check them before the next rain. Also, young woodpeckers and their parents are all over the place, sharpening their beaks....red cardinals too......along with that pesky critter (squirrel) nesting in the rafters of my carport.....heard some little noises (I think the big event has arrived). Azaleas beginning to bloom and not far behind, my dwarf dogwood tree is loaded with buds. As they say, Spring has sprung here in these parts.

Q: Do you know why Noah's family did not try to catch fish? A: They only had two worms. (don't throw tomatoes or other objects at me)

Mspete, that is awful! However, fishing in the salty sea requires another type of bait. Freshwater fish like worms. Worms multiply themselves. If you divide a worm, it will grow into another one.

We still have some snow on the ground here, and it's in the 30's right now. Expecting sleet and snow tomorrow. Hoping to see flowers in VA in the next month or so...

I think when we took a boat out fishing last summer, they used smaller fish as bait.

I saw some buttercups (daffodils) blooming in our community today. We have buds, but no blooms yet. Some of the forsynthia (yellow bells) are starting to bloom. I love spring!

Trudy, that was a terrible joke! I like terrible jokes. Another of my favorites: Q: Do you know what you call a boomerang that won't come back? A: A stick. yuck, yuck!

And I like silly jokes like the stick one. In fact it is on the pun side and can be thought provoking if you're not thinking.
