It is said, "April showers bring May flowers." It is April 1 and it is raining or going to rain today. Along with the flowers, budding trees, and grasses come the wonderful pollen. Without it, these growing plants would not propagate as well, if at all. Being a person who has a reaction to this stuff, I have mixed emotions about it all. However, the dreariness of Winter is replaced by the color and pleasantries of Spring's promise of new. 'Tis a season for everything, huh?
We are dealing with a blow, but a blessing right now. It was found that my husband has the beginning of a cancer in his esophagus. It is very small and evidently just started because 6 months ago there was nothing. He will be seeing an oncologist on the 12th and the removal will be following that. We are hoping it will be taken care of expeditiously. Please keep him in your thoughts and/or prayers.
I hope your Spring is colorful.

Whether you think you can or think you can't.....you're right.

I love the colors and "rebirth" of spring. The dogwood, azaleas and many other flowering trees are in full bloom in central Alabama. The pear trees have already bloomed and the flowers have fallen from the trees. These trees are now a very beautiful tender green color.
Trudy, you and Guy are in my thoughts and prayers. Think positive! God bless.
