Don't forget, taxes are due on April 18th this year! While April 15th is the usual date, we get a few extra days because Washington D.C. recognizes Emancipation Day (April 16th) as a holiday. Since April 16th falls on a Saturday this year, that means that it will be celebrated on the 15th, thus postponing the deadline for tax payments until the following Monday. Lucky us!
