Lightbulb Removing Cooking Oil Stains From Clothing

Here's a great laundry tip! Cooking oil/grease stains are easy to remove if you pre-treat them with dish soap (it's made to cut grease, after all). Simply squirt some on the stain, rub in gently, and let sit for a bit before washing (I used 7th Generation dish soap, and waited about 20 minutes). It took me two washes, but I was able to get bacon grease out of my new cotton dress this way.

I've also heard that you can rub cornstarch into the stain to absorb the grease, but I haven't tried this method yet.

Dishwashing liquid is good for removing stains (milk, burp, etc) from baby clothes.
