Hi everyone! I just made homemade mozzarella, yum! It was really easy, too. I bought a kit on Amazon as an early birthday present, but have since discovered that you can buy everything you need at the local grocery store (the kit still makes a cute gift, though!).

I started to write up directions, but this page does it well, and has lots of photos. One of the big differences is that I only needed to let mine set up for 5-10 minutes, not 1-2 hours... this might be due to the special rennet tablets in the kit, but I'm not sure.
