    Default He's home!!!!!!

    To all my CG friends,

The big fella came home today after spending 75 days in the hospital for various conditions. He is so happy to be home and not have someone poking or annoying him for something in or out of his body. Now I have to get used to the medicine routine which is so different than it was May 30. He is on insulin, too, which he was on briefly before. Now I have to get used to the pens instead of the syringes and vials. The doctor was talking about an insulin pump as he gets back to a more normal existence. It looks like I'll be house-bound for a while because I will not leave him alone. So, I'll wait for my adult children to come over to relieve me to go grocery shopping.

Thank you so much for your inquiries, concerns, and prayers. We were so appreciative of them all.

    God bless you richly,
    Trudy and Guy

Wonderful! Who says prayer does not work??!! I am so happy to hear this good news! Will continue to keep you both in my prayers. Recovery at home is part of the battle, so don't let your guard down. Hang in there Trudy, I know you can do it.

Thank you, Jayne. I'm exhausted right now and still have to stay up until midnight to give him some more meds. Then sleep for 6 hours and give him more. Hopefully this will work its self out and I'll be able to have more continuous sleep throughout the night as time goes on.

Wonderful news! Being a caretaker is very demanding and tiring. Try to take care of yourself as well as Guy. Don't be afraid to ask for help. You need to stay well! I will continue to remember you both in my prayers. God bless.
