The banning of Whiney's former husband.

I have been listening and reading that Whitney Houston's family has banned her former husband, Bobby Brown, from attending her funeral. I have my own feelings on this which parallel theirs. What are your feelings, if you care to say?

I haven't been following the Whitney Houston story much, but from what I know, things were going well until she married the wrong man, and then her life took a major turn for the worse. If that's the case, then I can certainly understand her family's sentiment. Funerals can be hard enough, without a nagging reminder of how the tragedy unfolded sitting next to you.

I haven't been following this much either. The banning of Bobby Brown from funeral does remind me of an unpleasant occurence at my mothers funeral (more than 50 years ago). My mother RARELY expressed dislike for anyone - however she had mentioned a man who occasionally came to her church and how she had no respesct for him. At her funeral, there he was in the choir! I have never quite forgiven him for that. He probably had no idea how she felt about him because she was truly a lady. I remember. May God grant peace to Whitney's daughter and her family.

I haven't paid much attention to the tv talk about this, however last night I was thinking about it and wondered what kind of relationship their child has with Bobby Brown. If he and Bobbi have a good relationship it might be of comfort to her to have him there for the funeral. This has to be a very difficult time for all of them. May God grant them comfort and peace.
