Who wants to spend unnecessary time scrubbing crusted, sticky, or burned food off of these supposedly "non-stick" pans? Well, I certainly don't, and I've discovered two options which help to keep me from pulling my hair out (or at least, from messing up my nails ).

The first option, if the pan is small enough, is to simply line it with a single piece of tin foil or parchment paper. Depending on what you're cooking, using only a single piece may be important, as liquids will simply seep onto the pan in between the seams otherwise.

A second option, which works well for larger pans, is to grab one of those large turkey roasting bags, and lay it out over the pan (don't put the pan inside the bag). If you like, you can even put tin foil over this, and then cook as normal. This is the method I use for no-fuss bbq ribs!

When you're all done, just throw the mess away and relax!
