My favorite loose tea is a red tea with vanilla and almonds in it, which I purchased at Whole Foods after a delicious free sample of the stuff. After a coupon had me purchase some new almond milk to try, I came up with an idea. If you use milk in your tea, why not replace it with almond milk for an extra boost of flavor?

If you're interested, I looked up my red tea on Amazon. It's made by TeaSpot, and a pack of two tins can be purchased for about $17 right now. At $8.50 a tin, it seems a bit pricey, but a tea bag's worth is only a teaspoon, which can be brewed 2-3 times before discarding, which gives you 100-150 cups of tea per tin, at less than 8 cents a cup. Red tea is generally considered to be very high in antioxidants, and since it contains very little tannin, you can steep it as long as you like, with no bitterness!
